Thiago Alcantara has been getting all sorts of praise at Liverpool over the past week orAnd rightly so.


The Spain international produced a virtuoso performance on Saturday as Liverpool hammered Arsenal 4-0 at Anfield.


And then on Wednesday, Thiago scored only his second goal for the Reds in the Champions League win over Porto.


The 30-year-old’s rifled, skimmed shot rippled the net from well outside the box, prompting praise from fans and pundits alike.

Thomas Tuchel 'names ideal Man United transfer' as Sir Jim Ratcliffe gets manager update

According to reports, Thomas Tuchel is no longer in contention to become  Manchester United 's new manager. The information was released soon after it was claimed on Sunday that Tuchel had a covert meeting in Monaco with Sir Jim Ratcliffe, United's co-owner. The German has been heavily linked with United after news emerged in February that the former Chelsea boss was leaving Bayern Munich. In order to determine Erik ten Hag's future at Old Trafford, United is presently reviewing the 2023–2024 campaign.
