Southgate, who has recently been tipped to sign a two-year contract extension (Telegraph), has watched on as his Three Lions have started Friday’s game in an emphatic fashion.

Thomas Tuchel 'names ideal Man United transfer' as Sir Jim Ratcliffe gets manager update

According to reports, Thomas Tuchel is no longer in contention to become  Manchester United 's new manager. The information was released soon after it was claimed on Sunday that Tuchel had a covert meeting in Monaco with Sir Jim Ratcliffe, United's co-owner. The German has been heavily linked with United after news emerged in February that the former Chelsea boss was leaving Bayern Munich. In order to determine Erik ten Hag's future at Old Trafford, United is presently reviewing the 2023–2024 campaign.
