CHELSEA REPORT:Chelsea defender says he felt 'awkward' playing in new position in Crystal Palace

Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen admitted that he did not feel very comfortable playing as a right-back in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Thomas Tuchel raised a lot of eyebrows with his decision to use a 4-1-4-1 formation, with four centre-backs, at Selhurst Park.

After the game, the manager explained that Cesar Azpilicueta and Callum Hudson-Odoi’s late injury absences were big factors in the decision.

Still, several of these players had to play in unfamiliar positions, including Christensen who operated as a right-back.
