Lionel Messi: The hero of Argentina refuses to say "no" to participating in the 2026 World Cup, saying it "depends on how I feel."


 

After appearing to end his career on a high note by leading Argentina to an incredible victory in Qatar, Lionel Messi declared that the 2022 World Cup would be his final one. However, the Albiceleste legend has now left the door open to returning in two years' time for his country's title defence in the United States, Canada and Mexico. He responded, "It depends on how I feel."
