According to reports, Thomas Tuchel is no longer in contention to become  Manchester United 's new manager. The information was released soon after it was claimed on Sunday that Tuchel had a covert meeting in Monaco with Sir Jim Ratcliffe, United's co-owner. The German has been heavily linked with United after news emerged in February that the former Chelsea boss was leaving Bayern Munich.
